My name is Jonathan Kermah. I am a journalism and communications major at the University of Massachusetts Amherst with a passion for writing and editing. For the most part, I write about what I’m interested in. I’ve written about mainstream hip-hop on Amherst Wire and music blog site Mugatunes over the past couple of years. In 2017, I begin writing about the NBA for the relatively new sports blog site Hold My Drink Sports.
While I love writing, I haven’t limited myself to just that. In January 2018, I became the entertainment editor of Amherst Wire. With that new title came the responsibility of managing entertainment writers and editing every article falling under entertainment. In my first semester as entertainment editor, I created the Amherst Wired Podcast Network which houses a variety of student podcasts, including my very own podcast 808s and Ankle Breaks. This site holds much of my work from the past few years.
